United Kingdom Flag Coloring Page

Three crosses combine on a deep blue field to form the Union Flag. The red cross of Saint George stands for England, the white saltire of Saint Andrew stands for Scotland, and the red saltire of Saint Patrick stands for Northern Ireland. The design took its present form in 1801, when the cross of Saint Patrick was added after the union with Ireland.

Colour the blue background first with broad even strokes all across the flag. The red and white crosses overlap each other in a precise pattern, so trace them carefully with a fine tip and watch how the white fimbriation edges every red arm.
