Indonesia Flag Coloring Page

Two equal horizontal bands of red over white carry colours that were first used by the Majapahit Empire in the thirteenth century. Red stands for courage and white for purity, and the flag is called the Sang Saka Merah-Putih, the heirloom red and white. It was first hoisted during the proclamation of independence on 17 August 1945.

Colour the red band at the top first with long horizontal strokes, then leave the white lower half empty. The flag has just two bands of equal height, so keep the line between them straight across.
