Thailand Flag Coloring Page

Five horizontal stripes run across the flag in red, white, blue, white and red, with the centre blue stripe twice as wide as each of the other four. Red stands for the land and the people, white for religion and blue for the monarchy. The design was adopted on 28 September 1917 by King Vajiravudh — the story goes that he was appalled when he saw the elephant flag flown upside down, prompting the creation of a symmetrical design.

Count out the five stripes before you start — red at the top, then white, then the wide blue centre, then white, then red at the bottom. Colour the red and blue stripes first with long horizontal strokes, leaving the white stripes empty.
