El Salvador Flag Coloring Page

Inside the coat of arms at the centre sits a golden triangle holding five green volcanoes rising from the sea, and the five volcanoes stand for the five original states of the Federal Republic of Central America that the flag recalls. The top and bottom blue bands stand for the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, a double reference to Central America, while the white middle band stands for peace. The bands follow the triband that was used from 1822 and come from the flag of the Federal Republic of Central America. On the flag for public buildings, the coat of arms gives way to the motto Dios, Unión, Libertad in gold letters.

Colour the two outer blue bands first with horizontal strokes, then leave the white centre empty. When the version with the coat of arms is used, the five volcanoes and the triangle sit small in the middle, so finish that part with a fine point.
