Uzbekistan Flag Coloring Page

A white crescent and twelve white five‑pointed stars sit near the hoist on a blue band, with white and green bands beneath and thin red lines between them. The twelve stars are understood to stand for the provinces of the country and to recall Uzbek historical tradition. Azure stands for the sky and water, white is a traditional Uzbek sign of peace, green represents nature and the harvest, and the red fimbriations stand for the power of life. The flag was adopted on 18 November 1991 after a nationwide competition that drew more than two hundred designs.

Start by colouring the blue top band, then leave the crescent and stars white, move to the thin red stripe, the white middle band, the second red stripe, and the green bottom band. The crescent and twelve stars are small and close together, so finish them with a fine point.
