Romania Flag Coloring Page

Three vertical bands of blue, yellow and red were first raised by the Wallachian revolutionaries of 1848, who chose the colours to stand for liberty, justice and fraternity. During the 1989 revolution that toppled the communist regime, protesters cut the old coat of arms from the middle of their flags, leaving a hole that became the symbol of the uprising. The plain tricolour was restored on 27 December 1989 and has been the national flag ever since.

Colour the blue band at the hoist first with vertical strokes, then the yellow middle band, then the red band at the fly so all three stay the same width. The flag has no emblem, so the three bands are all you need.
