Estonia Flag Coloring Page

Three equal horizontal bands of blue, black and white have been Estonia's flag since the country first became independent. An explanation made popular by the poetry of Martin Lipp says the blue is the sky above the Estonian people, the black is the soil of their homeland, and the white is purity, hard work and commitment. The tricolour started as the colours of the Estonian Students' Society in 1884 and was already the de facto national flag when the declaration of independence was issued in 1918; it was formally readopted by parliament on 7 August 1990.

Colour the blue band at the top with long horizontal strokes, then fill the black middle band, and leave the white bottom band empty. The flag has no emblem and the three bands are the same width, so it goes together quickly.
