Lithuania Flag Coloring Page

Yellow stands for the sun and prosperity, green for the forests, the countryside, liberty and hope, and red for the blood and bravery of those who died for Lithuania. The three colours were taken from folk weavings and traditional dress and were first made into a tricolour by the artist Antanas Žmuidzinavičius and the archaeologist Tadas Daugirdas, who saw the yellow as the rising sun between green fields and red clouds. The flag was readopted on 18 November 1988 during the Singing Revolution, a year and a half before the country restored its independence from the Soviet Union.

Start with the yellow band at the top using long even strokes, then fill the green middle band and the red bottom band with the same steady motion. The flag has no emblem, so all three bands go in quickly.
