Czech Republic Flag Coloring Page

A blue isosceles triangle extends from the hoist halfway across two horizontal bands of white and red, a design adopted by Czechoslovakia on 30 March 1920. The triangle was added by the designer Jaroslav Kursa to distinguish the flag from the plain white‑and‑red banner of Bohemia, which was nearly identical to Poland's. White stands for Bohemia, red for Moravia, and blue was originally the colour of Slovakia but is now said to represent impartiality and sovereignty; the Czech Republic inherited the flag when Czechoslovakia dissolved in 1993.

Colour the blue triangle at the hoist first with a steady hand — it reaches exactly halfway across — then fill the white top band and the red bottom band with long strokes. The triangle's point at the centre is the trickiest part, so trace it with a fine tip.
