Algeria Flag Coloring Page

Two equal vertical bands of green at the hoist and white at the fly divide the field, with a red crescent and five-pointed star straddling the line between them. The crescent and star are symbols of Islam, and the green and white carry the colours that have been associated with the faith and the country since the time of Emir Abdelkader in the nineteenth century. The flag was adopted on 3 July 1962.

Colour the green band at the hoist first with vertical strokes, then leave the white band empty. The red crescent and star sit right on the line between the two bands, so mark that centre point before you add them with a fine tip.
