Brazil Flag Coloring Page

A yellow diamond sits across the middle of the green field, and inside it a blue circle shows the stars as they appeared above Rio de Janeiro on 15 November 1889, the morning the country declared itself a republic. The motto Ordem e Progresso — Portuguese for Order and Progress — runs across the circle on a curved white band. The twenty-seven white stars stand for the twenty-six states and the Federal District.

Start with the green field using broad strokes — it covers more area than any other part — then fill the yellow diamond and the blue circle. All three shapes are large and simple, so cover them with even strokes and watch the corners of the diamond.
